WAYS we can work together

Narrative, voice, and content support for coaches, healers, spiritual teachers, and creatives doing work that matters.

What is storycrafting?

Most people who come to me know what they're doing. They know what matters about it. What they don't always have is language that reflects that — clearly, honestly, in a voice that actually sounds like them.

Storycrafting is the practice of finding that language. Not inventing it — it's already there, underneath the surface. My job is to listen for it, draw it out, and shape it into something you can use.

This work doesn't come from a marketing background. It comes from the same place as everything else at Ravensong — a deep belief that story is how humans make meaning, and that language handled carelessly does real harm.

I've spent years sitting with grief, myth, memory, and the hard work of putting difficult things into words. That's what I bring to client work: not a formula, but a practice. The same listening. The same care for what's true.

Work With Ravensong Storycrafting Studio

You know what you do. You know why it matters. But when it comes to putting it into words — your website, your program descriptions, your newsletter, the thing you say when someone asks what you do — something goes flat.

That's not a you problem. It's a language problem. And it's fixable.

I work with people in the coaching, healing, and creative space who are tired of sounding like a template. My work is careful, collaborative, and grounded in one belief: your real voice is more compelling than anything I could invent for you. My job is to find it, shape it, and put it somewhere it can do its work.

I don't do false urgency. I don't write copy designed to exploit fear or manufactured scarcity. If that's what you're looking for, I'm not your person — and I'll tell you that kindly.

If you want language you can stand behind, let's talk.

A NOTE ON AI

You've probably already tried it. And it probably produced something that was fine — technically correct, vaguely warm, and not quite you. That's not a failure of the technology. AI is genuinely useful for a lot of things. But it doesn't know what you actually believe, or the story that brought you here, or the specific way you say something when you're not performing for an audience. That's the part that makes people trust you enough to work with you. That's what we're after.

OfferingS

  • A single session entry point — $175

Sometimes you just need an outside ear and a clear reflection. We spend 90 minutes in conversation — about your work, your audience, your voice, what feels off or unclear. You leave with notes, language threads, and a clearer sense of what you're actually trying to say.

No commitment to further work required. But it's often where the real work begins.

  • One focused deliverable, done right — $895

Built around a single piece of high-stakes writing: an about page, a program description, a bio, an artist statement, a core website page. We start with deep listening, I draft, we refine together, and you walk away with something you're proud to put your name on.

    Includes:

Intake questionnaire and 60-minute listening session

    One complete draft

    Two rounds of revision

Short voice notes for future reference

    Timeline: 2–3 weeks

For when a single session isn't enough, but you're not ready for a full foundational project.

  • Foundational project — starting from $2,500 — scope defined together

For coaches, healers, and teachers who need their whole story untangled and expressed — not just one piece, but the through-line that runs beneath everything: website, program language, bio, core messaging.

This is where we do the deeper excavation. What do you actually believe? Who are you actually for? What makes your work distinct from the thousand other people doing something similar? We find those answers together, then build language around them.

    Typically includes:

    Extended listening and discovery process

Core messaging document (your language, not mine)

3–5 written deliverables (about page, program descriptions, bio, etc.)

Voice reference guide for future use

    Timeline: 4–6 weeks

  • Ongoing collaboration — starting from $1,000/month — scope defined in advance

For people who have ideas but need a skilled writer and thought partner to help them execute — month after month, without starting from scratch every time.

This is my core ongoing work. Depending on what you need, it might look like ghostwriting your newsletter from your ideas, shaping your course content, thinking through your podcast arc with you, drafting social content in your voice, or some combination of all of it.

What makes this different from hiring a VA or content writer:

You get someone who understands the world you work in, cares about the integrity of what you're saying, and will tell you when something doesn't sound like you — or when a marketing tactic you've been handed is going to make your audience feel manipulated.

Scope is defined upfront and revisited at 90 days. Starting rate reflects a focused monthly scope; larger engagements priced accordingly.

  • Project-based — starting from $1,200 — scope defined together

You have an idea for a course or podcast. You know what you want to teach or explore. But you can't quite see the structure — how it flows, what the through-line is, how to name and frame it so people immediately understand why it matters.

This is where I come in before you start creating content. We build the architecture together: the concept, the arc, the naming, the language that makes someone say that's exactly what I need.

    Typically includes:

Discovery session to clarify core message and audience

Course outline or podcast concept document with full episode/module arc

    Naming and positioning language

Optional: first 2–3 scripts or module introductions as a handoff

    Timeline: 2–4 weeks

This engagement often leads naturally into a Creative Partner Retainer.

How the Work Unfolds

Start with Listening

Every project begins with careful listening — to your language, your intent, and what feels unclear or misaligned. This surfaces the real story beneath the surface.

Clarify Before Creating

Rather than rushing to outputs, we take time to clarify voice, message, and meaning, so what's written reflects who you actually are, not a template or trend.

Collaborative Development

The work is transparent and iterative. You're involved at every stage, with clear checkpoints and shared understanding. No black boxes.

Usable, Sustainable Language

What you receive isn't just finished copy, it's language you can use confidently across contexts, or pass on to other collaborators.

Traditional content support

For select clients — inquire.

I also offer ongoing content production for coaches and small businesses who need consistent, voice-aligned content without the overhead of a full agency: newsletters, blog posts, social media content. This work is available to a limited number of clients at a time.

If this is what you're looking for, mention it in your inquiry and we'll talk about whether it's a fit.

Is this the right fit?

I work best with clients who value nuance, integrity, and emotionally intelligent communication — and who want language they can stand behind. If you're not sure whether what you need falls within what I do, the best thing is just to ask.

The first conversation is always a conversation, not a pitch.
